that aimed to help students. Here's the departments:
Covid-19 Liaison Staff, Queens College
Oct 2022 - May 2023
- Identify and document individuals who have come into close contact with COVID-19
positive individuals.
This includes obtaining information about the dates, locations, and duration of contact.
- Use contact tracing apps, databases, or software tools to record and track contact
information eficiently.
Ensure accurate and up-to date documentation of contacts and their associated details.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines to ensure the privacy and protection of
personal health
information obtained during contact tracing activities.
- Regularly check in with COVID-19 positive individuals and their contacts to monitor
symptoms, address
concerns, and provide ongoing support. Follow up on the completion of recommended
isolation or
quarantine periods.
Campus Co-Liaison, Hispanic Federation

Student Mentor
July 2020 - May 2022
- Oversee a cohort of 4 mentors and 60 mentees in total.
- Serve as the main point of contact for mentors, addressing their questions, concerns,
and needs throughout
the mentoring relationship.
- Develop or gather resources, tools, and materials to support mentors in their roles.
This may include
mentoring guides, goal-setting templates, communication tips, or relevant articles and
research.
- RRegularly check in with mentors to assess the progress and satisfaction of the
mentoring relationship. Collect
feedback from mentors and mentees to evaluate program efectiveness and identify areas
for improvement
Resident Assistant, COCM at Queens College

- Foster a positive and inclusive living environment by developing and implementing
community-building
activities, events, and programs for residents. Encourage social interaction,
collaboration, and mutual respect
among residents.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for residents, offering assistance and guidance
on various matters
such as academic support, conflict resolution, roommate issues, and personal concerns.
Refer residents to
appropriate campus resources when necessary.
- Promote a safe living environment by enforcing residential policies, addressing safety
concerns, and
conducting regular safety inspections. Respond to emergency situations, including fire
alarms, medical
emergencies, or security incidents, and report them to the appropriate authorities.
